My last night

So here it is, a few days since I left and I just got some internet access. Now I can tell about my last night in Alhambra. So the early Thursday morning at 1:30am (yes its barely Thurs.) I get an IM from Sterling, who wanted to know when I was going to leave and I had to say "Friday" making him decide that he and others would go out to eat with me on my last night. So I packed like crazy all morning, and in the afternoon I went to the bank and to say goodbye to my grandparents. That was hard. My grandma gave me a picture of my parents from her own collection of pics on one of the bookcases. That brought me to near tears, so then we left. I packed more stuff then went out with some people bowling. I thought it wouldn't take very long but then I was in the car and my ride to dinner-Sterling was like at my house and I'm in the car. I apologize like crazy n get home, change and then he and his mom come back. It was so cute, he like dressed up all nice. That was cute/sweet. But then Brian pulls up behind us in his car and we get into his car and head off to South Pasadena for dinner. They took me, where else, but Hooters. haha. Service kinda sucked but whatever we had fun. Then we wandered aimlessly for like 2 hours in and out of stores and trying to take pics while walking. Then we went back to my house cuz I had to give Sterling back his movies I have been holding on to for 4 months. So Brian, Celine, Evelyn n Sterling all got out of the car to say goodbye. I thought it was gonna be me just hugging them when I came back out but we ended up just standing by the car forever. And we talked n laughed and prollie annoyed neighbors. We also had the car still on playing music so when a car would drive by, we'd just start dancing to see what they would do. No one did anything. Then there is a stop sign right there so we laid on the letters trying to make them. It was funny cuz one of my neighbors stuck her head out of the door and then we ran back across the street and she kept peeking through the window at us. I then got the flashing porch light signaling my time was up. So I hugged everyone goodbye and went back to finish packing. Then was up forever chatting n packing.

ATTENTION: CREATIVITY NEEDED

Here's an opportunity for you all to get creative. I'm looking for suggestions for something more interesting than a-hutchins.blogspot.com as my url. so come up with something clever enough and your suggestion could be my new site address. Put those thinking caps on people!

Packing, or something like it

So I am supposed to be packing yesterday and today, but I haven't. Unless by packing you mean going to the movies, watching tv, sleeping late, and laying around. If so, then man oh man have I been busy packing! Mom says I need to make lists and such, but I don't know. Just can't bring myself to do it. Packing makes it all so final. It's sad.
Today I had an appointment at 4pm to get a shot I need for school. I came out shot, not once, but 3 times a little over an hour later. I go and am called in and they do the whole, weight, height, blood pressure, family and personal history stuff. Then the nurse asks why I'm here and I say that it's just a basic check up and I need a shot for school. She then tries to get me to have female related tests done. Not what I was there for. So I said no and she told me to go out and wait for her to get a room ready. So I returned to the waiting room and watched the rest of the episode of "Home Improvement" that was on. Finally I'm called back in and am taken to an exam room. The nurse says that the nurse practitioner will be with me soon, that she is with another pateint at the moment. So I sit and wait. And wait and wait and wait. Finally she comes in and begins asking me the same questions I got asked before. Didn't they already have this down since I just answered all this? I think, but answer them again. She then retakes my blood pressure since the mechanical one used before panics me and makes my blood pressure go way up. It was normal this time around. After she was done she said I needed 3 shots now so the nurse would be with me soon and really was I sure I didn't want any labs or anything like that done? No I didn't. It was already almost 5. So she left and I waited more. Long enough to hear "November Rain" coming from the office next to my room. And the nurses outside having lots of conversation. Then the nurse comes and asks which hand I use to write. I tell her and she leaves and comes back like 5 minutes later. By the time we get to the car, it's 5:15 and I have 3 band-aids and slight pain in my arms.
Mom and I then went to see if the jcpenny's over there had the lamp I was thinking of getting. But they didn't so we left. And now I'm sitting here, still not packing, drinking the Diet Pepsi Jazz-Strawberries and Cream. It's weird, yet I kinda like it. Last day of work tomorrow, so that puts off packing for another day. Thursday is going to be crazy as heck, but oh well. That's what I get.

My first post

So here I am, about to start school, and being away from home and many of my friends, I have created this blog to keep people updated with my life and the people in it. I'll try and make it as witty and clever as possible, but there are no guarentees with me since most of the time I could be sleep deprived or just plain lazy to make it anything particularly special. But this should help keep people up-to date on what's going on in my life
