WHOOO!!!!!
This is my 100th post! Quite a milestone from the girl that isn't so good at remembering to blog. Probably because I still haven't figured out who reads this other than family members.
But for all you loyal readers out there, thank you for reading! I hope you keep it up and comment some to encourage me to post more! Haha
It's been a while since I got back from this trip, but we all know how speedy I am about posting stuff. Haha.
So on May 24th I took the bus to Fresno to see Hannah. I had nothing keeping me home, no job, no school and only a handful of my friends were done with school. I got picked up by her and her boyfriend Ryan. We went back to her house then took Ryan home and met up with her friend Nadine for a late lunch. Following that we went back to her house and changed and went to Ryan's son's open house. They had some little program on before and I'm all for women's rights and equality, but they were saying how it was Memorial Day weekend and remembering the Presidents and all that, then the whole program was about the First Ladies and how they probably still told their husbands to pick up their dirty socks and shoes....little confusion there. After the program we went to the boy's classroom and looked at his stuff. Then we went back to Hannah's for dinner, where Ryan joined us.
Friday morning we got up and did some last minute grocery shopping and a run to Costco then went back to get our stuff together to leave for Bass Lake, which is like an hour outside of Fresno near Yosemite. Joining us on this trip was Ryan, his friend Chris and Hannah's friends Rachel, Cortney, Nora and Nora's boyfriend Steve. So Hannah, Ryan, Chris and I were in Hannah's truck and Cortney and Rachel followed in Cortney's car. We got there in good time, unpacked the car, then despite bringing lots of food, were too lazy to cook dinner so we went down to the bar and grill restaurant to eat. Oh and we had a chalet, which is basically half of a house...a duplex and we had half of it and some family had the other half.

Saturday morning we got up, got our bathing suits on and went to lounge by the pool for that afternoon. After a while we went back to the cabin, cooked pizza for lunch, ate, took showers and then everyone ended up taking a nap. By the time we woke up Nora and Steve were arriving and it was time to get ready to go out to eat because it was Hannah's 21st birthday. We went and had a very nice dinner, then went back to the cabin and just hung out and talked.

Sunday, we got up early (sort of) and made reservations to go horseback riding at 5pm. Then since Nora and Steve hadn't been to the pool or anything we went back to the pool. But first the boys went and bought plastic swords and bows and arrows and swam out to this platform in the lake and had a battle. It was quite a show and they were very popular with little boys that watched them. After that we went and grabbed some lunch then headed off to go horseback riding. It was so much fun! We had a great time and want to go horseback riding more, not that any of us have a place to go do that. Haha.

Following horseback riding, we went back and cleaned up, then the boys fired up our little grill to cook hamburgers and hot dogs for dinner and us girls blasted music and sat around talking. After dinner the ladies were dancing around having a great time and the guys sat and looked at us like we'd lost it since we were dancing and screaming the lyrics.
Monday was check out day so we got up and packed the cars and checked out, but before we left, we rented a boat and went out on the lake for about 2 hours. I hadn't taken any meds so I felt a little nauseous, but I got through ok. After that we headed back for Fresno and unloaded and took people home. Then Hannah and I had a girl's night watching 'How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days' and Season 9 of 'Friends' that Ryan had gotten her.

Tuesday morning she and I got up, went to Target to buy me a new purse as the strap of mine decided to break Sunday night, then went and met up with Hannah's friend Maddie for brunch. After that, it was off to pick up Ryan from work so he could accompany us downtown to the bus station, they saw me off and I had the longest bus ride ever. First, they stopped everywhere so it was a packed bus and second, the usual array of strange people happened to be around me. Oh well. I got home, tanner and sad to have left my friend.
Yes, I know. I broke free, then deserted this blog. So what did I do with my free time?
I packed. Yeah not that fun. After finals it was just packing and saying goodbye. Well, some fun was had. I went out that Tuesday I finished with Tricia, her friend Brit, Emily and her friend Brittanie. We just went over to Emily's brother's and hung out for a while so Cayla could study in peace at the apt.
Wednesday morning I got up, saw an academic advisor at school about taking calculus this summer (it ended with my decision to not take it, despite warnings by SDSU ppl to take it at a JC...I might be screwing myself over...we'll see), bought myself some lunch, then went back to the apt. Emily had her stuff together and was the first to go.
Her stuff all packed...

The rest of the day, Tricia spent packing up her half of the room. She hung out with some of her friends that night and Thursday evening she headed off to the airport for home.
And then there were two. Cayla and I were left. I packed in the afternoon and at night we ordered pizza, ate ice cream, watched the 'Grey's Anatomy' season finale and some movies on tv. We dragged out the mattress of one of the departed roommates and brought out pillows and blankets to make ourselves comfy whilst doing this.

Friday morning I got up early, cleaned the bathroom, and finished up some last minute packing. Then Mom showed up and we packed the car and headed back to Alhambra, leaving Cayla alone for the summer.
