Almost there....

So almost done with my second year. Where did the time go? No, really. Where did it go? I have part one of my HTM final on Thursday, and part 2 is online so I guess Thursday is my last class. Then we canceled the final in English 220, replacing it with doing 5 blogs instead. So next Thursday is my last day of that class. The rest of the classes end next Friday and then my finals are on the 13th and 16th.

I honestly can't believe it's almost over. It feels like the semester just started. But hey, I'm down for no papers and projects. Freedom will be nice. Anyone on quarters want to peace out on the last couple of weeks on school and come keep me company? You know you want to....

Sabbatical Over!

So I took another extended break from blogging. It happens, deal with it. But I am back, not in pog form. Things happpened after Easter, so I was too busy to post.

For one thing I went to Las Vegas that next weekend. Lot of free time to go around and do whatever, and then we had tours at MGM Grand and The Mirage. The tour at The Mirage was way cooler because we go to see the rooms and go check out The Beatles Lounge, Revolution. It was prety cool in there and the owner told us some of the celebs that hang out there sometimes. Let's just say I know somewhere I want to go next year when I am 21. We stayed at the Luxor and with your room key you get in free to LAX nightclub and some club promoter handed me and my friends passes to go in VIP status. It's funny how they thought we were over 21...That's the club often seen on "The Hills" where Lauren and Brody and all of them go. Some of the 21 year old girls on the trip said it was pretty lame, but then others said it was cool, so I guess I'll just have to go find out for myself next year.

Just some shots of inside Revolution

That was the first weekend of spring break. The rest of break was pretty chill. I didn't really do a whole lot other than lay around the house and read magazines. Good times. The day I went back to SD, I made a detour on my way down to go visit my "niece" Emilie. She's so cute and tiny!! I have like three pics of her on my phone. Such a cutie. She was a little fussy, but she had had a big day prior to me getting there as she had been to the doctor for a visit. She got the prize for the first newborn I have ever held. All othere babies I've held are old enough to hold up their own heads and play and do stuff, but she's only a month old, so not doing that stuff just yet.

Since getting back from break, not much is going on other than projects and tests and such for classes. As of this week, I have 3 weeks left of instruction and then finals week. So I am nearing the end. It's so weird to think that in 4 weeks I'll be done with my second year of college. Where did the time go? Peter Pan singing "Don't Wanna Grow Up" comes to mind when I think about it. So strange to think that 2 years from now I'll (hopefully) be graduating, yet another weird thought. At that point, that will be it for me. No masters program for my major so I'll be done with school forever then. Which is good and bad. Good because I am over school, but bad because it means I have to be a big girl and grow up and get a job and give up my life to work.

That's all for now. Keep tuning in as I will try to not go weeks without posting again.
