Saturday I did something new-I gambled! Cyndi was down to visit her mom this weekend and asked if I wanted to hang out. So on Saturday afternoon, she and her mom picked me up and we went out to Viejas outlet mall to the new Lane Bryant store. I tried some stuff on that was cute, but found a jacket I really liked. It came in denim, green, khaki, or dark brown and it looks like there is a sweater underneath, cuz it has a hood and cuffs and a zipper on the inside of the outer color, and I really liked it in green, as did Cyndi. So we both ended up buying it-cute we can be twins some day. Haha.
Then we went across the street to the Viejas casino. Cyndi told me to have my ID ready since she got carded her first time, I probably would to. So I had it ready, but the guards said nothing except "Have a nice time. Good luck!" So we went in and I got a player's card with my name on it. We then went and found a nickel machine and Cyndi's mom each gave us a dollar to play the machine on. This game sucked and I won nothing so we left there and found a spot upstairs for her mom to play. She gave us each $20 to play with. If we came out ahead, she got her $20, if we lost, we had fun doing it. So Cyndi and I went off wandering. I went and played Jackpot Party. I wasn't getting much, then I got to play a bonus game. That was fun, and I kept playing on that one, but it stopped giving me money, so we left. We went off and I found Texas Tea, which I know is one of Dad's favorites, so I played that. It really liked me. I got to play a couple of bonus games and so I kept playing. But then it stopped liking me and while I had over $30 before, I ended up going down to under $20. We then went and I played this duck game that basically ate most of the rest of my money, which was totally taken away but Texas Tina, who never let me win anything. If only I had cashed out I woulda made some money, but oh well.
So we left the casino and went to Cyndi's mom's so I could do some laundry for free. I left it in the car and was going to bring it in through the garage. And she opened the garage door and as I walked out, I saw a snake slithering in! AHHH!!! I HATE SNAKES!!!!! So I was screaming and told Cyndi what it was and then she was freaking out. So she got a poking stick to try and get it to come out from under the leg of the pool table, but it just bit her stick. She wanted me to go in and watch it while she ran to get the neighbor, but I couldn't step foot inside the garage because of my fear of snakes. Then I just happened to look up and I saw the biggest black widow I have ever seen!!! So I screamed again and was basically standing there crying and shivering. I wanted to get in the car since I had the key, but Cyndi wouldn't let me. She ran and got the neighbor and after a lot of work, they caught it in a pillowcase and took it down the canyon.
Then I could do laundry. I put a load in and Cyndi and I went off to get some take-out. As we waited for the food, we went next door to Blockbuster to look at movies they had on sale. We both ended up buying 2 movies-"Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" and "Bewitched" for me and "Monster-in-Law" and "Bewitched" for her. Each one was only $5 so that was great for a poor college kid like me. Haha. So we went and got the food, went back to her mom's watched "Monster-in-Law" and ate. I did more laundry and watched tv. Then went home at like 12:30am.
When I got home, Cayla was still up and we decided to watch "Sisterhood" on my computer since we lack a dvd player for now. We watched some and when Tricia came home she watched some with us too, but I was falling asleep so we called it a night.
Sunday afternoon, Cyndi came and took me to the store for some groceries-like veggies for when I cook the chicken breasts she gave me from her giant bag that she got from Costco. We also went to Wal-Mart so I could buy some files and a little box to put the files in to keep myself more organized. Then it was time to finish homework for school on Monday.

Did you say something cool like:
I am sick and tired of these mother (bleeping) snakes in my mother (bleeping) house?
If so, you would be as cool as samuel l. jackson, and that's hard to do.

why are you anonymous?
I was thinking some of those thoughts. Then I was like come on pull it together you are bigger than he is, but my girl side won over and I ran up the street like a scared little girl.
Thank goodness we have some very nice neighbors we can call on in times like these! It is good to live on the same street for 30 yrs. Then you know everyone.
