Company!

Last night looked like it was going to be yet another boring night at the apartment. Nothing was even really going on here. It was surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night. Then an IM window opened, and it was Celine. She asked what I was up to, and I said nothing and asked her what she was doing, and she replied "VISITING YOU!!!!!!!" I honestly thought she was kidding. But she wasn't, and a few hours later she and Jen showed up. It was really great to see them and hang out, since it has been about a year since I saw Jen and a few months since I have seen Celine. We didn't do anything other than sit around and watch tv and talked, but it was fun. They were amazed at the size of my place, which probably seems bigger because I lack furniture. If it was packed with furniture it might not seem as big.

Here's a picture of it when I was moving in (I am standing just in the kitchen area). You can decide for yourself if that's big in general or because of a lack of furniture. Everyone thinks just big in general, But I really think if we had a table and chairs in the dining room area, people wouldn't be exclaiming "THIS ROOM IS HUGE!!!!!!!" when the walked in.



We have since put my desk up on the right wall (where my computer is on the floor), put a different lamp by the window, got 2 fans and a loveseat and 2 folding chairs (one is my desk chair, the other just sits there), moved the coffee table in front of the tv stand and the rocker at an angle next to the loveseat (which is by the window).
