Finally Home

So I'm home finally. I guess traffic wasn't too bad. It was an improvement from last year when it took Bradley and I about 4 1/2 hours to get from San Diego to Alhambra. This year it took 3 hours. That hour and a half makes a difference. This year my parents came and got me and we took the 15 freeway rather than the 5.

As predicted by me, school was generally pointless. In Oceanography, we had a "pop quiz for participation" in which there was only one question: Spell 'oil.' That was it. I guess it's good I went, because any points I get in there are good. Once that class was over, I had 3 hours to kill until Accounting. I headed to the library to find a computer to do my Econ experiment on. That was a challenge as they had closed off half of the computer lab and just about all the computers were taken. I wandered around a bit and waited and finally found one. I did my prep for the experiment, read some news and checked traffic before the experiment started at 12pm. That finished around 12:40, so I headed off and got a quesadilla at Rubio's. After lunch, I sat for a little longer in East Commons area then wandered down by the pond and visited the turtles, who were chilling out on the rock in the middle of the pond. I walked through West Commons (just trying to kill some time) and went around by Nasatir Hall, grabbed a copy of The Daily Aztec, and found a bench to sit and read it. In Accounting, we turned in homework, had a presentation on identity theft, did a survey for extra credit and listened to a lecture. She also went over the answers for Chapter 10 homework, which most of us haven't even looked at yet since it is not due until next Wednesday. Whatever, free answers. Plus, most of the time she doesn't go over answers, so we don't know if we did the homework right or not. This way I have the answers written so I can read the questions and do them and check to make sure I have the idea right.

As for now, I am glad to be home. I was greeted by my kitty, meowing, and my dog jumping all over me, licking my face and running around making attempts at playing with a tennis ball. They spent about 20 minutes chasing each other away from me before finally settling down. As I write this, my cat is next to me on the loveseat and the dog is curled up in a blanket on the couch.
