LAME!

Today had its moments, like when I got an 85 on my calculus test (I've been consistent on those math tests, first one=84, second=88, now an 85) or when I went to the Birch Aquarium with my friend and we were attempting to do 46 questions in an hour and a half (it couldn't be done..we had to leave because they were having some event there tonight). However, I do have two things to rant about.

1. Las Vegas Trip
They had been thinking the second weekend of spring break. Leave on like Thursday or Friday and come back on Sunday early and then school's the next day. However, because of a survey they did, more people seem to want it the first weekend of spring break. What's the problem you ask? It is March 29th-March 31st. My cousin is getting married in New York on March 29th. I was going to go to that, then come back, get some last minute laundry done and then go back to San Diego to meet up and go on the trip to Vegas. Now I have to decide which I want to go on more. With New York, I haven't been there since I was like 11. I wanted to go and see that side of the family. Then with Las Vegas, I'm on the planning committee. It's a good opportunity to be on that committee. But if I'm not even going to get to go, then what would be the point?

2. Registration for classes
Because SDSU has sophomores as last priority for registering for classes, for this past fall registration, I had second to last day before registration closed in the morning. They sent out times for spring registration. I got the day before registration closes in the afternoon. Yeah if I barely got classes this semester, spring is going to be even worse. Especially for smaller classes, like IDS 290 with several sections of 30 people. I was going to try and take that with Cayla and Jillian because my roommate is taking it now and between what she said and what I have read on ratemyprofessors.com, there is a big group paper. It would be nice to have someone in my class that I know to do said paper with that I know would be responsible and work and get things done. But that might be more unlikely because of the great registration time I have. Also I am wondering if that means I can kiss my HTM 223 class goodbye for next semester, which would really suck because I am not sure if I can be signed into my major without taking that class. Oh, I should mention the reason I am thinking I am going to have to kiss the class goodbye is because there is only one section of the class, for 55 people. But, um, yeah it's just a huge frustration. Probably a ploy of SDSU to keep me in longer! How dare they!

In other news, I am watching "Titanic" as I write this. I have not seen it in the longest time. I found myself crying when the musicians were playing "Nearer My God to Thee" as the ship was going down. Also when Jack died. I guess that's what happens when you haven't seen a movie for a really loong time and you cried the first time and maybe the second and third time. It just gets you again when you don't think it will.

Oh and I hate people that run down the hall, hitting doorbells along the way. It's annoying. Stupid doorbells outside apartment.
