Today in accounting class...

We watched an episode of "The Simpsons"...What was the relevance to accounting? The first 5 minutes or so. Then it was just because my teacher is sick and didn't feel like teaching us anything.

Which one was it? Season 8, Episode 17, "The Canine Mutiny"
In this episode, Marge lets Bart have the junk mail, so he applies for a credit card under the dog's name. He gets lots of stuff, but has no money to pay for it all, so the repo men come and take Santa's Little Helper away because Bart said he was the $1200 dog, so that he could keep Laddie, the superdog. But in the end Bart misses Santa's Little Helper and goes on a quest to find him after giving Laddie away.

Connection to class: Credit card fraud and how people apply for credit cards under names of newborns, dogs, dead people, etc. and steal their identities. The rest of the episode? Just because she didn't feel like teaching because she had a fever. So class was as long as a commercial free episode of "The Simpsons"...what a waste of time. But whatever gets me out of there faster is good.
